El hombre y sus símbolos, El libro rojo, Memorias sueños pensamientos y diferentes cursos tomados con Eduardo Carvallo en el Centro de estudios junguianos de Bogotá sirvieron de marco para nuestro intercambio. Por medio de ejercicios de imaginación activa que incluyen la escritura automática, la caja de arena, la creación de mandalas, y otros, se buscaba sacar contenido activo del inconsciente para autorretratarse a partir de esto. Los temas predominantes de nuestra conversación fueron entre otros la mente primigenia, la consciencia mítica y el inconsciente colectivo.
El intercambio, que duró dos años, se realizaba mensualmente, la fotografía debía ser autorretrato y el contenido de la carta y la fotografía no se discutía por ningún otro medio.

Dos Mares is a project within the framework of self-portraiture and psychoanalysis, based on an epistolary and photographic exchange with my friend and fellow photographer, Camila Orozco. The project draws upon the teachings and writings of the psychoanalyst and psychotherapist Carl Gustav Jung and the foundations of analytical psychology.
Man and His Symbols, The Red Book, Memories, Dreams, Reflections, along with various courses taken with Eduardo Carvallo at the Jungian Studies Center in Bogotá, provided the framework for our exchange. Through exercises in active imagination—including automatic writing, sandplay, mandala creation, among others—the aim was to bring forth active content from the unconscious in order to create self-portraits from it.
The main themes of our conversation included, among others, the primordial mind, mythical consciousness, and the collective unconscious. The exchange, which lasted two years, took place on a monthly basis. The photograph had to be a self-portrait, and the content of the letter and the photograph was not to be discussed through any other medium.
